Use Defaults for the intended starting setup: Smart Chop, Demo Loop, Fixed Velocity, Choke On, One Shot mode, and stock FX.

Upload audio, press Defaults, or use Demo Loop. Stop All is the emergency kill switch for active sound and loops.

Instructions

Start quickly

Press Defaults.
Press Start Audio if the browser has not started sound yet.
Play pads with the keyboard, mouse, touch, or Launchkey Mini.

Use your own audio

Choose an audio file with the upload control.
Smart Chop makes longer playable slices.
Use Grid Chop for exact equal divisions.

Using MIDI

Connect the Launchkey Mini before opening the page.
Press Enable MIDI.
Pads trigger slices. Knobs K1-K8 control FX in order.

FAQ

What does Defaults do?

It loads the demo loop, selects Smart Chop, sets Fixed Velocity, turns Choke On, returns to One Shot mode, and resets every FX knob visually and sonically.

What does Choke do?

Choke stops the previous sound when a new pad is triggered. Turn it off if you want sounds to overlap.

What is Fixed Velocity?

Fixed Velocity makes each pad play at the same level. Switch to MIDI velocity if you want hardware pad pressure to affect volume.

Troubleshooting

No sound

Press Start Audio.
Check browser volume and system output.
Press Defaults to load a known working demo.

MIDI not detected

Use Chrome or Edge on desktop.
Reconnect the Launchkey Mini, then refresh.
Press Enable MIDI again.

Old page showing

Hard refresh with Ctrl + Shift + R.
Unregister the service worker in DevTools if needed.
Use a versioned URL after updates.
